From Florence

To reach San Galgano by car from Florence, you have to travel southbound the motorway junction "Firenze-Siena" in the direction of the Provincial Road of Castello di Staggia. "Colle Val d'Elsa Sud" motorway exit and continue on Provincial Road 541. After about 20km, turn right and continue until you find the sign Siena 18 / Rosia 5. This is the Provincial Road 73bis. After having passed the gas station, 10km after the previous turn, turn right again. San Galgano is 2km far. You are arrived.

From Grosseto

To reach San Galgano by car from Grosseto, you have to travel the SS 223 "Grosseto-Siena-Fano" and exit in "San Lorenzo a Merse". From here, follow the signs for San Galgano Abbey proceeding towards "Monticiano" direction.

From Rome

To reach San Galgano by car from Rome, you have to travel the A1 motorway and take the "Valdichiana" exit. Continue along the highway to Siena; from here you reconnect with the Provincial Road 73.
